Manage Competing Priorities
Organize a full patient assignment, identify what matters first, and keep the shift moving when demands compete.
FALL VIRTUAL CLINICAL READINESS WORKSHOP
In two live virtual days, give new grad nurses and nurses stepping into higher-acuity care a practical system for running the shift, connecting the clinical picture, and recognizing and responding when something is going wrong.
By Monday, nurses return to the bedside more clinically ready to run their shift with clarity, recognize deterioration sooner, and escalate concerns clearly and appropriately.
Register Your NursesOrganize a full patient assignment, identify what matters first, and keep the shift moving when demands compete.
Connect assessments, vital signs, labs, and meaningful patterns so patient deterioration is recognized sooner.
Communicate concerns, initiate additional support, and respond with greater purpose during high-stakes moments.
WHY NOW
Respiratory illness season can bring more hospitalizations, higher-acuity patients, and faster-moving clinical deterioration. An existing readiness gap becomes more consequential when patients can change quickly.
The workshop takes place as hospitals move into fall and winter respiratory illness season. Influenza and other respiratory infections can progress to pneumonia, respiratory failure, sepsis, septic shock, and multiorgan failure. Nurses need to recognize the early clinical story—not merely respond after the patient has already declined.
Hospitals are being asked to build clinical readiness while care is already in motion. Your nurses aren’t the problem. The clinical-readiness gap is.
The Fall Virtual Clinical Readiness Workshop strengthens the skills that cannot wait: running the shift, connecting the clinical picture, recognizing deterioration, and knowing what to do next.
Here’s how the two days unfold.WORKSHOP AGENDA
These are not isolated lectures. Each session builds on the one before it so nurses can move from collecting clinical information to recognizing what it means and acting on what matters.
Move beyond completing a checklist. Gather meaningful findings and recognize changes that require a closer look.
Break
Strengthen focused assessment and connect findings to what may be happening beneath the surface.
Lunch
Understand the blood pressure equation and changing vital signs through a simplified, connected framework.
Break
Connect high-priority results to the assessment, patient history, and emerging clinical picture.
Bring assessment findings, vital signs, hemodynamics, and laboratory data together to recognize sepsis sooner.
Understand how decline unfolds, why changes are missed, and how to recognize an evolving clinical problem.
Break
Recognize when a patient needs more help, communicate urgency clearly, and connect critical rhythms to the patient’s presentation.
Lunch
Understand your role, anticipate what the team needs, communicate clearly, and respond with purpose when seconds count.
Break
Strengthen postoperative assessment and recognize concerning patterns.
Organize a full patient assignment, reduce cognitive load, and determine what happens first, next, and later.
Nurses leave with connected frameworks they can begin using on their very next shift.
12 MONTHS OF REINFORCEMENT
Every participant receives immediate, one-year access to Confident Nurse Academy. Nurses can revisit the workshop lessons and continue strengthening their knowledge when a future shift makes it relevant. It's like Netflix for nurses—with every lesson designed to carry stronger clinical thinking into patient care.
Complete the Clinical Readiness Baseline and begin identifying strengths and learning gaps.
Attend two instructor-led days and work through the highest-leverage clinical concepts in sequence.
Return to the on-demand lessons and additional Academy resources throughout 12 months of access.
The live event will not be replayed. The corresponding lessons inside Confident Nurse Academy remain available throughout each nurse’s 12-month access period.
One weekend creates an immediate clinical lift. One year of reinforcement helps it compound.

HOW IT WORKS
Register one nurse or an entire cohort for the Fall Virtual Clinical Readiness Workshop.
Your nurses spend one focused weekend learning practical systems for running the shift, connecting the clinical picture, recognizing deterioration, and knowing what to do next.
Your nurses return to the bedside with a stronger clinical baseline and practical frameworks they can begin applying immediately.
QUESTIONS NURSE LEADERS ASK
No. Residency programs provide essential organizational support and transition-to-practice education, but no program can guarantee that every nurse will encounter every important condition, complication, or high-stakes situation during orientation. This workshop supplies focused clinical-readiness instruction nurses can carry into your existing program and their bedside practice.
Yes. The workshop is designed for new graduate nurses and nurses stepping into higher-acuity care. A nurse may have years of experience and still be encountering unfamiliar populations, broader assignments, or more complex clinical situations.
Yes. Registration is $997 per nurse, and you may register one nurse or an entire cohort. Five nurses are highlighted simply because the total remains under $5,000 and gives a group from your organization a shared clinical-readiness foundation.
No. A leader may complete the registration first and provide participant names and email addresses afterward. We will send the submission instructions by email so every nurse can access the Academy and complete the Clinical Readiness Baseline.
Printed workbooks for nurses registered by October 23 will be shipped together to the hospital contact provided during registration. That contact can distribute the workbooks before the event. Later registrations receive a digital workbook.
The live November workshop will not be replayed. Every nurse does receive 12 months of Confident Nurse Academy access, where the corresponding clinical lessons can be watched and reviewed on demand.
Yes. Contact hours will be available to nurses who meet the completion requirements, including attendance and the post-workshop evaluation. The final number will be published after the educational agenda is approved.
Yes. Nurses may attend from the same location, but every participant needs an individual registration and Academy account so attendance, baseline completion, evaluations, continuing education documentation, and yearlong access can be recorded correctly.
Give nurses a system for running the shift, connecting the clinical story, recognizing deterioration, and knowing what to do next—so they can make a positive impact starting with their very next shift.
Register Your NursesThe virtual event delivers the same core Clinical Readiness curriculum as our private, in-person workshop. If you want to provide the two-day experience onsite for a larger group, schedule a conversation about bringing it to your organization.
